If you're coming from a Spanish city with an airport or from abroad, Malaga International Airport is the closest option. From the airport, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use the shuttle bus.

There are no stops along the way and the bus drives via the toll road, so it is generally on time. The buses from Malaga Airport to Marbella run from 8.45am to 10.05pm. Check for the times on the Avanza website because the timetables change slightly in June and September from summer to winter times.
