Kurosh Madani is graduated in fundamental physics in June 1985 from PARIS 7 – Jussieu University. He received his MSc. in Microelectronics and chip architecture from University PARIS 11 (PARIS-SUD), Orsay, France, in September 1986. Received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University PARIS 11 (PARIS-SUD), Orsay, France, in February 1990. In 1995, he received the DHDR Doctor Hab. degree (senior research doctorate degree) from University PARIS 12 – Val de Marne. He works as Chair Professor in Electrical Engineering of Senart-FB Institute of Technology of University PARIS-EST Creteil ( UPEC), France. From 1992 to 2000 he has been creator and head of DRN (Neural Networks Division) research group. From 2001 to 2004 he has been head of Intelligence in Instrumentation and Systems Laboratory (I2S / JE 2353) of UPEC. Co-creator of Images, Signals and Intelligent Systems Laboratory (LISSI / EA 3956) of UPEC in 2005, head of Intelligent Machines & Systems” research team of LISSI, he is also Vice-director of this laboratory. He has worked on both digital and analog implementation of massively parallel processors arrays for image processing, electro-optical random number generation, and both analog and digital Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) implementation. Kevin Warwick is Professor of Cybernetics at the University of Reading, England, where he carries out research in artificial intelligence, control, robotics and biomedical engineering. He took his first degree at Aston University, followed by a PhD and research post at Imperial College London. He subsequently held positions at Oxford, Newcastle and Warwick Universities before being offered the Chair at Reading. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng.) and is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineering & Technology (FIET). Kevin Warwick is the youngest person ever to become a Fellow of the City & Guilds of London Institu te (FCGI). He is the author or co-author of more than 500 research papers and has written or edited 27 books (three for general readership), as well as numerous magazine and newspaper articles on scientific and general subjects.
Kevin has been awarded higher doctorates (DSc) both by Imperial College and the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague and has received Honorary Doctorates from 6 Universities. He has appeared in the Guiness Book of Records for his research on several occasions and is perhaps best known for his implant self-experimentation, linking his own nervous system with a computer network.

Christophe Sabourin received his Ph.D. in Robotics and Control from University of Orleans, France in November 2004. In September 2005, he joined Senart-Fontainebleau Institute of Technology of University Paris-Est Creteil where he works as Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. In 2016, he received the DHDR Doctor Hab. degree (senior research doctorate degree) from University Paris-Est. Alejandro Linares-Barranco received the B.S. degree in computer engineering, the M.S. degree in industrial computer science, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science with a specialization in computer interfaces for neuromorphic systems from the University of Sevilla, Sevilla, Spain, in 1998, 2002, and 2003, respectively. He joined the Architecture and Technology of Computers Department, University of Seville, in 2001, as an Assistant Professor, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006. Since 2013, he has been the Secretary of the Architecture and Technology of Computers Department and in 2017 he becam e head of department. He belongs to the Robotics and Technology of Computers Laboratory. His current research interests include VLSI for FPGA digital design, neuro-inspired event-based processing, and interfaces for FPGAs. Maria Isabel Hartillo obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Sevilla. Since 2008 she is a reader at the Department of Applied Mathematics, in the University of Sevilla.
